Sundae thought she was sneeky by stealing a cookie (don't we all think we can get by with that!)

A Musical Sundae

My life is very musical. I have a cat named Sundae. My son and husband are very supportive in all I do. My biggest challenge is working at home where the snacks are always available. I hope to reach a healthier weight to prevent diabetes and further knee, feet and back problems.

My Goals:
My goal is to feel healthier and to set healthy habits that stay with me after loosing 30 more pounds. This will lessen my chances of getting diabetes and lesson the weight on a recently partially replaced knee and the pressure on my low back.

My Program:
*Planning meals in advance.
*Daily Exercise

Personal Information:
I was born and raised in Wisconsin and have returned here to make this my permanent home. I enjoy teaching private music lessons in my home and spending time with my family.

Other Information:
In November of 2010 I had an interbody fusion done on my L5-S1 disk along with an artificial disk implanted to help keep the space at that point. In November of 2009 I had a partial lateral knee replacement as well. I am asthmatic and have the chance of becoming diabetic. In Aug. 2014, I under went two more back surgeries resulting in a fusion, 4 screws & 2 rods in the L4-L5 vertebrae. In Feb. 2015 I was diagnosed with CRPS and will deal with this for a LONG time. With all these challenges, it is good to live a healthy lifestyle, which I seem to keep working at. My doctors are impressed that even through all this, I keep up a good exercise program and stay busy! In June of 2012 I found out that I was allergic to cocoa and soy along with some other more minor allergens. I also have a sensitivity to wheat and sugar. While I was eating better for about 4 years, I have not worked past all fo that with allergy shots to the point where I can eat all the things I was sensitive to wit

All the Acid Reflux tests turned out to be "no acid reflux". However, in taking all the allergens out of my eating, I'm now able to sing very well again (I was at only 4 pitches that I could sing at one time). Amazing how life turns out. Good luck to you with your singing. I hope you find the answers you need.
