I'm not yet where I want to be - but I'm better than yesterday!
While it's not my first Diet Rodeo, I decided that this was the year that I needed to get serious and acknowledge that small, consistent steps will get me where I want to be, both in terms of my weight and building good habits.
After a lifetime of body image issues in my youth and 20s, I finally managed to get to a healthier state in my 30s - even taught group fitness classes! - only to allow it to get away from me by just not paying attention.
I'm now at a stage in my life where my health and vitality depends on being at my ideal weight.
Oh, and I HATE having my picture taken. Sorry! Even my friends comment that our vacation photos never have people in them.
When I'm not at home with hubby and cats, I'm a corporate type. Fortunately, I work for a great employer. Now, if we could just get the economy to cooperate....
Lose weight and improve my overall fitness!
(My husband says I could be a better driver, but that's for another time...)
1) Write it down.
2) Keeping the fitness regime consistent.
3) Watch the sugar intake.
Currently living in, but not from, MN. A lovely place to live but a well-kept secret, due to the awful weather.
I love to travel, read, and quilt.

Today is the unofficial "take happiness into your own hands" day. It's unofficial because I just made it up! (*grin*) But it seems like a great idea, right? Today, try not to be controlled by others... decide to be happy, decide to be great. Move forward as if all your dreams could come true today with no barriers standing in your way. Smile, laugh, and be amazing...
