strength training is so important. I would do 2 days a week. check out sparks for some strength training videos........And you mommy tummy will be gone by what you eat in the kitchen.........lean meats, veggies,fruits,whole grains and some good fats.

Without ST, up to 25% of your weight loss can come from lost muscle rather than fat. Including ST in your program will help maintain your existing muscle mass, and ensure that more of your weight loss comes from fat alone, rather than muscle. And it's a lot easier to maintain your existing muscle, than it is to add it back later.

ST should definitely be part of your program NOW.

Yes! Start st now! I would start out with 2- 3 days a week and then if you feel you need more build from there. Just don't do too much too soon because you don't want to overwhelm yourself by doing too much

I LOVE zumba & used to go to classes 3x/week. Start ST now. A lot of times, some people alternate cardio & ST each day, which I have done; some do both, but you're supposed to preferably do one first over the other.

I like your plan. I try for 5 days of cardio, and 3 days of strength training.

Sounds like you have good cardio workouts. Yes it is a good idea to start strenght training now, 3 days a week. Above link is to some ST workouts you can follow.

There are wonderful toning benefits as well as calorie burning boosts to ST.

Ok not sure if my plan is good or not. So here it is suggestions would be great. Eating good and loving how im feeling so far. Just want to loose 40 total pounds. I have a mommy pooch that i would love to see go away.
Ok, I do zumba 6 days a week for an hr. A great cardio work out! Then get on the bike for 30 minutes of different changing levels as i go. I know i need strength training too. Do i do it now or wait till im closer to my goal weight. If i do strength training what should i do? thanks so much!
