I'm sure with the support of your hubby, you're going to make it this time. We can't change the past, but we can influence and change the future. You are NOT alone. Just about every single member of Spark has had the same thing happen in their lives. Every single one of us has gained, lost and regained the weight. BUT, we made a change and so can you. You CAN break the cycle ? How ?
You start with some simple changes you can stick with. Don't try to do everything at once or you will end up frustrated. Start with some simple goals. Example, if you're not used to eating 6-9 servings of fresh fruit and veggies, set a goal to eat 2-3 servings each day for one week. If you're not used to drinking 8 glasses of water, set a goal to drink 2-4 glasses each day for one week. If you're not used to regular exercise, set a goal to take a 30 minute walk each day for one week. Once you've achieved these goals. Then you set new ones.
And that's how good health starts. It starts with one small change. a study just came out that said making one healthy change to your life leads to another, which leads to another and another and another... before you know it, all those healthy changes do add up fast.
Be patient with yourself and your body. Don't be frustrated if the scale doesn't move as fast as you'd like. As the Coaches all say,"trust the process".
