I was born in 1962. I remember the bicentennial celebrations, too! My favorite shows were the Wonderful World of Disney, Animal Kingdom, Little House on the Prairie, Gunsmoke, Gentle Ben. I was the youngest of three kids, but fortunate enough to be the only girl, LOL. I LOVE life and living it! Single mother of three grown children, 4 grandchildren (a 3 year old granddaughter and a 1 year old granddaughter - and recently twin grandsons were born, and twins do not run in our family, so we were shocked, excited, and loving every minute of it, they are two months old and my daughter is getting into the routine of it all, but we consider them double the blessings!

Born Sept 1962 and I remember diapers with pins. I loved Shirley Temple reruns, John Wayne westerns, and riding bikes and playing with Barbies. I remember when George Wallace was shot since my mother, sister and me just left that shopping center as the event took place. I remember celebrating the US’ Bicentennial too.

Where were you in 62? I was in the hospital being born. Then I was in diapers. Cloth ones with the pins and rubber pants.
