It use to be the step machine but Planet Fitness doesn't have step, so now its back to the elliptical....as soon as my broken foot heals. Haven't worked out in over 2 weeks now...I miss it all!

Walking to work with my purse and totebag, these add a bit of weight to my 30 min. walk, and I do it back home again, only this time uphill. I try to walk at lunch too. I also like to walk with my trekking poles which gives a different workout again. I guess walking and hiking would be my favourite workouts -- so much variety!
Try walking backwards a up steep hill, major glut workout, just be careful for traffic, or any hazards. There's a hill in my area where there is mainly foot traffic, yes people look and laugh until they try it!
Pumping iron (free weights) is by far my favorite way to exercise. And of that my favorite day, currently, is shoulder/trap day.

Lately, my standard workout is 65 minutes fast walking on the treadmill at the gym. I'm in the process of setting up a home gym in my basement for dvd workouts and elliptical and weights, though, so I'll have the option of working out at home when the winter weather keeps me cooped up!

Fast Dancing to the Music Choice Channel. I keep my arms and legs moving for 20-30 minutes and work up a sweat!
The only "diet" that works is consistency!

I do love going for runs, but if I am not strapped for time, I enjoy long walks more. :)

I make some of my own. I do this thing where i lean against a counter butt first at hip level...i cross my arms hugging myself at the wasit or across the chest and lean back with my back straight like im strecthing my back or hips (leaning backwards over the counter). Well when you go back so far, holding your own weight, you can feel a slight shake. when i get to that "shake" i basically rock forwards and backwards. its like doing a crunch just less stressful. and they dont take any time at all to do I do these at work when i have free time.
what i love about these is they are very effective!! you see and feel the results rather quickly for a toner belly. I do 50 at a time and can feel my belly muscles tighten right after im done! When you do them you can feel the burn in your belly too. plus also how far apart you spread your feet and how far way your feet are from the wall out in front of you changes your resistance. I do 50 at a time and love them! its great for when your trying to get your 10 minutes in and it leaves you time for even more different types of exercise. downfall is if your lower back isnt in good shape, sore or weak they can be not so fun.

Running is by far my favorite way to burn calories. I also take karate classes and I find that very fun and challenging!
