That it is a city and I meet so many different cultures everyday. I also love when I am on the train or bus and could be sitting next to one of the wealthiest people in the state!

I don't live in a city, i live in a town. It's not incorporated ... it is a two lane, no stop light kind of place and I love it! ... it's taken me 12 years to get back to my hometown with a place to live .. (no apt complexes here!) ... I wanna stay. (smile)

Hmmm, well what I like the most is the unique name of the town (Puyallup) & the opportunity to correct so many people who do not know where to begin. I also like that I'm out in the country but have fantastic proximity to busier cities like Tacoma & Seattle.

I live in a small town on the Oregon coast. No traffic and I can walk almost every place I go. Moving here from the insanity of Silcone valley has probably added years to my life.
I tell all my friends that living here reminds me of It's a Wonderful Life!

I live in a suburb outside of Chicago in Illinois. It's the best of both worlds because it's more quiet and laid back than the city itself but you are still close enough to take advantage of all that Chicago has to offer. Chicago is a great city for its restaurants, cultural life, beautiful lakefront, stores and friendly people. It's the third largest city but it still has more of a small town feel. It's also a great walking city. I am also about 20 minutes from Wisconsin so it's easy to go up there for a quick getaway and change of pace too.

I think I'd like living in the country or the suburbs better however, one think I like about living in the city is all access to shopping :)
That might not be such a good thing, but I like it.

I like that there are a lot of opportunities for getting outdoors and being active - parks, bike trails, road races, etc. I like that it's a generally safe, wholesome environment, and a great place to raise kids!

I live on an island in the Sacramento Delta. Born and raised surrounded by a pear orchard, levee roads the Sacramento River and it's various sloughs. No signal lights, two lane roads, some of them dirt, some with no center line. (okay ... there is a warning light to slow down when you approach the end of the road to the levee) The traffic consists of farm equipment an an occasional rouge bunny. Love it!

I live in Southern Illinois - 20 miles east of St. Louis. I love the history here. Old architecture remains. I love walking downtown St. Louis and seeing things I hadn't noticed before in a car.
