My first question is, "Why have you no desire to eat?" Are you nauseated? Too soon for your next meal? Are you on some kind of a medicine that would cause that? Upset emotionally? If there is not a substantial reason, then have you ever tried a smoothie, shake, a different type of meal rather than a traditional one? Tried 6 small meals instead of 3 plus a snack? As you can tell, I have never had that kind of problem with eating. I'm always ready for my next meal. Even breakfast.

I push for the 1200 calories every day most days I have been there or higher. only day 1 I fell short but I feel like Im constantly eating..which is hard for me. pushing toward the 1200 tonight so dinner and 1 more snack , I might get that in by 9:00 pm

Hmm... An ongoing issue, huh? Well, maybe the feeling will go away with some time and at some point your appetite will return. But, for now, do be careful because 400 calories seems extremely low. (I would be afraid of passing out or something on such a limited diet.) I would try to eat as healthy a diet as possible in the meantime... And I would definitely talk to your doctor should this "problem" persist. Take care and do keep us posted! :)
This is an ongoing issue for me , I have my coffee when I get up . 1 cup then its water , water , water ... always feeling dehydrated most days My husband has to remind me to eat. I will say to him not feeling great today and he will say did you eat anything yet ... ummm no I forgot , I guess I get wrapped up in my day. so today I did bring along an orange and a protein bar , just had a yogart , so a whopping 400 calories today . leaving 800 calories ... Really need motivation to eat every day . I am 7 days into this coming off eating 1 meal a day before. Im trying to be hungry.
I never have the issue of not wanting to eat unless I have/had the stomach flu in which I did have Sunday, but I am still feeling icky in the mornings. I opted for just green tea this morning but have food in the oven cooking for a nice brunch.

I never really have this problem, but maybe, if it's an occasional issue, don't force yourself to eat. I've been trying to teach myself (for years!) to eat only when I'm hungry, so if you're not, maybe just listen to your body and skip it. On the other hand, if this is an ongoing concern, I would eat a healthy, but maybe smaller, snack/meal, as in the long run, it's better not to skip eating... As many of those before me have mentioned, foregoing/skipping a meal now may be more detrimental later (i.e. increased hunger, which often times results in over-eating, and thus weight gain). Anyway, best of luck to you. You're smart and will make the right decision regarding this matter. :) P.S. Can you send some of your "lack of hunger" vibes my way? Please? Lol. :)
I have the opposite problem. What to do when I want to eat and shouldn't or grab for foods I shouldn't be eating!
You do need food for fuel, so I would eat something healthy and light. Maybe snack on fruits, veggies, meats and cheese, yogurt, nuts etc.

If it's a one-time thing, I probably wouldn't force yourself to eat. But if it's an ongoing problem, then you need to find some easy ways to boost calories. Here's an article you might find helpful:

on those rare days when I just have no appetite (not sick, just don't want food), I take the opportunity to eat healthy calorie dense foods: avocado, peanut butter, nuts, etc. Or I splurge and eat the full- fat Greek yogurt that I LOVE (The Greek Gods Honey Vanilla - YUMMMMY!)
if it's just breakfast that you have an issue with, eat a small apple or a slice of cheese.

If you are struggling to eat enough calories in the day, I think you should eat something, even if it's small. Maybe a handful of nuts or half an avocado.

I wish I could say I encounter that - maybe I wouldn't be needing to lose so much weight - but you do need to get your meals in or it hinders your efforts. I can say sometimes I just get bored with eating but not not hungry.

Since I battle hunger 24/7 I really don't understand this question. Not hungry? Don't eat. Simple.
Can't tell if your issue is just with breakfast. some people don't like eating breakfast but studies show eating a healthy little breakfast helps lose weight...and keeps you from over indulging later. Don't know why you feel that way, but be careful. A lot of times we psyche ourselves into thinking we'll lose even faster the less we eat, and we convince ourselves we aren't hungry...but when you do break a fast, you end up doing more damage than what you lose.
Don't go below 1200 calories a day for extended periods. Eat something healthy ...even if you don't feel hungry.

This always works for me when I am like that
1 container of yogurt ( I use the fruited ones } 1 cup of water 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries ( If it is strawberry yogurt I use frozen strawberries ) 1 banana place in blender & whirl away!!!
it will be ice cold because of the frozen fruit if you want you can sprinkle cinammon on top ,plus you can use any frozen fruit peaches etc I am a night time eater many times I will have this , this is so filling also Judy
