I tell myself just 5 minutes & if I can't go any longer I can quit but I usually end up with more energy & feeling good enough to finish my routine.

I dont like to exercise. it is not fun, its hard and feels boring and like Im doing chores. I have started though. I have did more this week then I normally would have. I find it easier doing several small workouts , instead of one big one that seems to take forever. I know I have to do this for my health. Getting up to do it is the hardest but once I do a few moves.. Im doing it! Then the workout has ended and ..That wasn't so bad!

How do you feel first thing in the morning ? Do you have more energy in the morning ? If so, you might try getting up early to have a short workout. As the others noted, you don't have to workout for 30+ minutes. You could break your workouts up into shorter segments and still get all the benefits. So, if you can't walk for 30 minutes, then take 10 ten minute walks spaced out through the day. walking for 10 minutes three times a day still adds up to 30 minutes.
If you think you have more energy at lunch time, why not take a short walk during your lunch break ? Walking is wonderful cardiovascular exercise that you can do any time. there are members who will tell you how they lost 100+ pounds just by walking and watching what they ate.

If I don't have the energy to hit the pool or gym I generally turn on a tv show and walk in place for a tv show or two. It's low intensity, simple, and I can stop and roll back into bed anytime I wish.
I always try to get in at least a few minutes of exercise each day even when I'm tired or sick.

I agree--just get yourself to do a few minutes of anything. I can't count the number of times I haven't felt like I had the energy to go for a run, but when I actually get out and do it, I find the energy...and then have more energy when I'm done!

Ok so most of the time (idk if its from my weight or PCOS) I have days where i simply cant muster up the strength to work out. I just feel so tired and feel like i need to go sleep right then, even if i havent done much that day. So of course i'll say "well i'll rest tonight and do it tomorrow night" and then of course the next night i feel the same way! it's a vicious cycle. I dont have any medical problems that cause me to be tired other than PCOS. I get so frustrated because i cant seem to workout consistantly enough to lose weight because im always tired! is there perhaps something im doing thats causing me to be tired? or do i just need to push through? has anyone else had this problem when thy start their journey to get fit?
