I would prefer to see the weight go down - but I love to see the inches disappear in my clothes, so I have to say its an equal thing for me!!

Hmmm....This question really made me think. I want to say pounds, because I love to see the number go lower but...I really think the feeling I get when I put on something and it looks better than last time I put it on, well that's got to be it. Inches!
When I first started, I was solely focused on the pounds. I suspect I still am to a certain extent, but I can't beat the elation I felt when my clothes starting fitting more loosely. So I'm psyched about the inches, too, especially when I realize that I've lost eight inches on my waist!

unfortunately pounds, but I think that has a lot more to do with the conditioning Ive been exposed to growing up. It's a difficult mind switch.

Like others, I know I should say inches, but my brain insists on pounds. I think it's those pesky BMI categories that influence me there; I'm just not going to be satisfied til the numbers on the scale say I'm a healthy weight.
