My motivation comes from the recent realization that getting fit doesn't have to be all or nothing....even if I don't have time or energy to work out for a full hour, now I realize it will still help to take a 20 minute walk. On the nutrition side, one slip-up doesn't mean that I should just quit eating healthy, just be better next time. That attitude has helped me be so much more consistent.

My family. We push each other to always do our best to stay healthy. That includes exercise and trying to make good food choices.
I've 'dropped the ball' and started over so many times and I well know that feeling when you start over...again. This time with a great go at it I won't stop, made way to much progress and even if I just stay where I'm at for a while, I'm not sliding back!
I may not be there yet but I'm closer than I was yesterday.
I got tired of starting over and working back to where I was, so I have stopped giving up!

thankx every1 i'm working on my journey a step a time putting my all in-setting myself smaller goals works for me... so far my goal till the end of the month is to lose another 5 kgs hopefully will keep reminding myself y am i doing this before pressing "stop" on my workout! thanks for sharing X

WHEN I am well motivated and for any amount of time, I am invariably maintaining a tight routine for my physical conditioning program.
However, when I get off of my routine, I start slipping on the activities and start back-slidding regarding my nutritional intake and things tend to fall apart rapidly and severely!
Picking myself back-up and getting set back into the saddle takes so much more effort, than it would have to just keep myself seated and plodding along . . .
I have pictures of me at my goal weight I'd like to be on my page and my kids are also my inspiration, I want to be healthy for them and myself.

I look at pictures from when I ran a half marathon, and tell myself that if I could do that then, i can certainly stay on top of things now!
