greens (spinach/lettuce)
raw broccoli
cucumber
tomato
bell pepper
shredded carrots
black beans
black olives
taco-seasoned ground turkey
cubed avocado

For dressing, mix 2 tbs salsa with 1 tbs sour cream or greek yogurt

When I get a bad craving to eat a comfort food such as nachos or tacos or mexican food in general I make my nacho salad!

Shredded lettuce
Onion
Black Beans
Avocado
Diced Tomatoes
Diced steak or chicken breast (sometimes I just do veggies)
Salsa
and a tiny spoonful of queso cheese!

It definitely does the trick to crush a bad craving

Two favorites:

Red leaf lettuce
Apples
Cranberries
Red onion
Walnuts
Feta cheese
(goes really well with balsamic vinaigrette dressing)

Spinach
Strawberries
Red onion
Pecans (or almonds)
Feta cheese
(I like this one with poppyseed dressing, but also works well with balsamic vinaigrette)

the last salad I made was delicious;

romaine lettuce
scallions
avocado
walnuts
celery
lemon juice
red bell pepper
whole wheat penne
salt and crushed pepper.
