Being consistent. I lose weight then stop practicing my good habits and gain it back

Being patient with the process. I want it off NOW, so I get discouraged and back slide. It has been a long year with slow success. Sometimes it is hard to keep at it and know that it is a lifetime change that is not going to end.
Patience and persistence. Minimizing my progress too much in my head.
I am intentionally approaching this journey with more of a moderation instead of deprivation mindset. I have made healthy changes and feel good about what I am doing. I still get down at times that I don't see faster progress on the scale.

i GUESS THAT WOULD BE LOSING THE ANXIETY THAT GOES ALONG WITH IT. wE JUST NEED TO REALIZE THAT IT IS A LIFELONG EFFORT TO HAVE HEALTH AND FITNESS. AS LONG AS WE ARE DOING THE RIGHT THINGS OUR BODY IS BENEFITING. WEIGHT LOSS MAY NOT BE AS FAST AS WE WOULD LIKE IT , BUT WE ARE CHANGING OUR LIFESTYLE TO SUPPORT AND MAINTAIN HEALTHY WEIGHT!!!

For me, it's a balancing act with my emotional swings. It's really the same as saying "staying motivated" as many others have said but for me, when I dig deep, the core issue is: my motivation will slip when my mood slips. My moods seem to be governed by my hormones, and the only thing that seems to keep them in check is yoga. So, long as I'm doing yoga, I seem to stay on track.
For me it was always procrastinating.Always putting exercise off,NOT anymore!Put faith and determination into myself and not let anything get in my way!

Handling the cravings and also getting everyone else in my house to eat healthy! My dad lives with me and he hates anything low fat or "diet" foods...go figure hes SKINNY! But tonight I made taco pizza which I found the recipe for on this website and he loved it! So did my uncle. I loaded it with veggies and made a special one for me which had fresh spinach on it! I guess that if you find foods that everyone can agree on it doesn't matter if its a "diet" food. But its not that easy

for me it's always been that I knew what was best for me and my body. I did my homework on how to eat right......and found some workouts l loved.......but what gets me the most is other people telling me how to live my life. What to eat. how skinny they think I am.......and asking why I walk so much. They are so quick to judge my weight loss journey........I struggle with that the most. I have figured out the rest. I don't keep the junk food in the house. I make sure to make me important in this healthy life style. I always keep up on my workouts. I just wish other people would leave me alone about my healthy life style. It's people that don't even care about me. They don't know what is best for me.............I DO.

I agree this is the hardest part. It is very hard to stay motivated when this happens. Thats where measuring comes in real handy!

For me, it's the food. I really like food ... the way it tastes, smells, feels in my mouth, etc. It's one of the joys of life and I have trouble resisting it. A "small portion" just isn't enough. I always want another bite.

when you think you are cutting back on food and doing more exercises but not losing the weight
For me it is the balance of burning body fat and not losing lean muscle mass. I'd recommend joining a team challenge, I have joined a few and they help me stay accountable and the support is awesome.

Staying motivated. I am the type that needs instant gratification. If I eat well, exercise I want to see that I have lost weight. It is hard to stay on track when the results are in the distant future.
