Salmon is my go to meal. My number one way of cooking it is to lay a large sheet of heavy duty foil (sprayed with Pam) on a jelly roll pan. Flop the salmon on top of it. I score the fish a little and pour lemon juice over it. (Fresh lemon is great too, but hubby won't buy them because we have a few trees, but I won't walk through the jungle - uhm I mean grass to get them.) On top of lemon juice I sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder and dill weed. I like to plop small pieces of butter over the top but hubby doesn't, so if you are saving calories, fat, etc. skip this step. I feel it helps the taste of the lemon. Now is the step that I think makes salmon easy. Fold the foil over the fish making sure there are no holes or spaces. If it is tightly wrapped, it doesn't dry out and clean up is a snap. Then slide the pan into a preheated 450 degree F oven for about 20 minutes (We us a large slab of fish so time may vary.) I then open the foil and cook 5 min longer.

I am weird and like mine plain but I have also brushed it with some honey mustard dressing or a family member uses this sweet onion dressing on hers that is good. Another simple idea is seasoning and small amount of olive oil.

I like to put a little bit of Parmesan cheese on mine. Not too much to watch calories, but it complements with a creamy flavor.

The most important thing about salmon is not to overcook it, and keep it covered. Nothing worse than dry salmon. I cook mine 20 min. at 350 and check for flaking.

I like lemon, dill, and garlic on mine.

I like just garlic salt & maybe some dried parsley, then cook it at a very low heat in a pan with just a little oil.

I love a pile of fresh dill on any fish and right now I have some in my garden.

DH grills salmon with just the slightest smear of bbq sauce. It sears in the heat of the grill and you can't really tell it's there but it is really nice. Even my kids love this

Anything and everything! I love making salmon with an asian touch. I'll let fillets sit in a mix of soy sauce, sesame oil, mirin (you can use honey or brown sugar), ginger and garlic for 15-30 min, then I broil them.

You can also sprinkle them with some smoked paprika and olive oil.

Salmon has such delicious flavor you can serve it naked and it'll be wonderful.

My family cooks salmon with a sprig of rosemary and lemon slices on the top. We grill it and sometimes will use some dill sauce just before serving. It is easy to make, low in sodium and tastes absolutely delicious. We also serve it with rice cooked with a little bit of lemon juice in place of some of the water.

I usually put just salt and pepper on salmon. I have grilled it on aluminum foil on a bed of onion and lemon slices. Very good. emoticon

I love using garlic, lemon, dill, a little butter, salt and pepper on salmon. Also blackening seasoning adds a kick. The secret is to keep it simple.

Dill is an herb often used with fish. I like it plain, sauted in a bit of butter or EEVO. It's also yummy poached in white wine, just below a simmer. The main thing is to not overcook it. Keep the heat medium-low, cook until pink in the center. I realize it's pink all over LOL but it should be slightly pinker in the middle, like a medium rare steak. If it's flaky it's overdone. You'll get the hang of it after a few tries. Leftovers are good cold in salad, can be mixed with a little mayo like tuna. Like all seafood, wild is definitely better than farm raised. Check the recipes here; there's one for a nut crust (pecans?) that sounds delish!

Many things! I often top it with hollandaise sauce...or dill sauce. Also brown sugar and butter glaze. Salmon is a great fish for spicing up as it is fairly strong and can withstand a lot of other flavours. If you want any details of recipes mssg me...although I would bet hollandaise does not fall within the "healthy" guidelines ;-)
