I'll answer the question about saving calories. In general, you could save your calories to be able to indulge at a fancy meal. Once in a while for a special occasion is okay, but not on a regular basis. Overeating on one day will not make or break your healthy lifestyle. But, once again, this is not something you'd want to do on a regular basis. A person should eat as healthfully as possible the entire day, not just at certain times of the day. You wouldn't want to get into a habit of eating right in the morning only to overindulge in the evening.
