There is a team here that does that through a website. Sorry I can't remember the team name or the website but I think with a little searching you could find it.

Have you looked at mapmyrun to see if you could set it up there? You don't have to "run"; I use it a lot to track distance of various routes through my neighborhood, walking. It might be a bit tedious to set up the route all the way to New York, but it's doable.

I'm searching for a website where I can create a route to travel while walking just for fun. It would be fun to know where I am at in The USA when I input how many miles I did for the day.

For example I want to track walking from California to New York and back, is this possible? Any ideas? I've searched and come up empty so far! Thanks for your help.
