That was probably the best way to handle it. If you know there will be foods like that plan ahead and save some calories so you can have a little without busting the numbers that day.

well that's what I was saying in another post. Calories in versus calories out, but when he ate the peach cobbler, I had already had my calorie limit for the day. I did take a bite, though, to make him happy.

sorry I am a lady and I post here, but the other forums have way too many posts and not enough replies. They get lost down to the bottom. Anyway, I forgot what I was going to say, oh yeah, I remember. What should I say to my husband when he tells me to just eat. I mean, yesterday I made a peach cobbler for him and kids and he tells me to eat some. He says I don't know what I'm missing. He knows I'm on diet and he's trying to sabotage me. What is the best thing to say to him?
