Don't quit. Most everyone who joins Sparks gives up and goes back to old habits of eating sugar/starches. Stay with this and do it for you.

Today I joined sparkpeople and it is the most helpful web site i have ever seen. I intend to use as many tools as possible (and there are many!) to help me get healthier. One is to keep this journal...i hope I'm doing this right. I used my food tracker today and WOW! I did not realize that I was taking in so many calories. Wake up call #1. Started to exercise....found it far more difficult than I thought. My age and arthritis are doing a number on me. Wake up call #2. Today I thought about it. Tomorrow I'll do it....baby steps, baby steps.
