if I got it replaced, because of so many things that are broken in it, it would cost just short of 100 of how much I bought it in the first place.

I can NOT afford another meile or a super expenive vacuum. I spent more time getting it fixed than I have had it in working order. its always felt "delicate"

Have you tried the Miele customer support? Because I have a Miele for 8 years now and that thing works GREAT.
