I can relate to you. Though like a previous post I can find that one week I gain a pound or two but the falling week I lose more than expected.....take for instance I got on the scale on yesterday and I was up over a one pound but this morning I woke just feeling leaner so I got on the scale and I was down 2.5 lbs.....though I should note that my weightoss has been really slow...only 2 to3 lbs per month. I am still about 23 lbs from where I want to be but we will see where my body is comfortable at

Weight loss is like driving a car. If you veer off the road, just make a U turn and get back on the Road heading in the right direction!

Sometimes I've found I've had a slight gain one week, and then I lose more than usual the next. Weight is a funny thing and you can't measure health just by looking at it alone! Stay strong and next week you'll feel better!

As I tell all new members,"don't look at good health or weight loss with an all or nothing mentality". If the only healthy thing you did for yourself today was drink 8 glasses of water, that's still a step in the right direction.
Ever notice your weight goes up during TOM ? Most women tend to "gain" weight during their menstrual cycle. Is that a fat gain ? Nope, it's nothing more than a temporary water weight gain that passes in a few days.
I can easily gain or lose as much as 3-4 pounds in a day because of water weight. So, don't beat yourself up over 1.6 pounds. That's 3-4 glasses of water. that will be gone before you know it.
You're going to see many ups and downs on the scale as you lose. And that's perfectly normal. Remember, there is more to good health than a number that stares at us from between our toes in the morning.

Try not to let the scale be your only tool for measuring your progress. Remember our body weight will fluctuate from day to day, even within the course of a single day, but that doesn't mean you have not achieved some health benefits.

Feeling a little bummed about this but to be honet i fell off the wagon this week! But I am back on track so hopefully I rock this week...
