Thanks ya'll I sooo needed that pep talk!
Short term goals for this week.............hmmm well I guess that would be to walk 1 mile in the morning then 1 mile in the evening. Or/plus eat more fruit tomorrow seriously need more fruit. Yea I think I will do that, more fruit.

I was in your shoes last week. Emotionally ate every day to soothe myself. Short term it worked but I gained 3 lbs just like that. This week I am back at eating well.
What I like about your post is that you walked today. Right now today, that's what counts, nothing else. You did it.
Remember the saying... it's not how many times we fall off the wagon, it's how many times we get back on... NO MATTER what. And hubby and daughter of yours ROCK!!! Lucky you to have them.

You are NOT a weak willed person or a bad one because you ate too much for one week. One day of less than healthy eating or even one week WILL NOT make or break your healthy lifestyle.
I give all new members one piece of advice and it's this,"Don't look at good health or weight loss with an all or nothing mentality". If the only healthy thing you were to do for yourself today was drink 8 glasses of water, that's still a step in the right direction.
Good health isn't "all or nothing". Start with some simple changes first. Don't try to do everything at once or you will end up frustrated. Example, if you're not eating 6-9 servings of fresh fruit and veggies, set a goal to eat 2-3 servings each day for one week. If you're not drinking 8 glasses of water, set a goal to drink 2-4 glasses each day for one week. If you're not exercising, don't try to exercise for an hour, set a goal to take a 30 minute walk each day for one week. Once you've achieve these goals, then you set new ones.
And that's how good health starts. No totally destroyed week, no lack of control or being lazy. One small change can change your life. You have to believe that because it's true.
Now, tell me, what small goals would you like to set for this week ? It's not over yet. Plenty of time to be healthy !!

Well I had a bad day and of course it turned into a weak. But I know it's b/c I was lazy and just wanted to eat and so therefore I didn't go on SP and track food and didn't exercise so more than likely I have gained weight. But tomorrow is weigh in day so I promised myself I wouldn't be hard on myself. Walked a mile this morning (and feeling good) and trying very hard to get back on the good eating habit schedule.
My support team hubby and my daughter, well hubby fussed at me (which I need that) not in a rude way but a very firm and loving way that helped but my daughter sent me a message from school this morning giving me encouragement telling me she loves me and to get up and work out mom. That helped a bunch. So here I am trying very hard to get out of this funk. Just wanted to vent and get it off my chest and I guess kinda admit my weakness and grow from it.
