Hi LINAMARIE - glad that you are now back on board :-)

I hope that you have been able to take a good breather from your shifting etc. Remember to NOT beat yourself up for what has been - you had a lot going on, and now you are back, so NOW you can concentrate on this journey :-)

Take care,
Kris xx

You are one smart lady!!! You haven't given up on yourself even though life threw you some stumbling blocks. That is just what they are - you know when you stumble you can always make yourself get back on track. If you ever need someone to talk to whether it be to brag or cry, please let me know. We have all been there and done that!!!! emoticon

Welcome back ! Even though you've been a member of Spark People before, I'm going to give you a piece of advice that I give to all new members,"don't look at good health or weight loss with an all or nothing attitude". If the only healthy thing you did for yourself today was drink 8 glasses of water, that's still a step in the right direction.

You can't beat yourself up because you've had a lot of stress in your life for the last three weeks. Once things settle down, you can settle back into a healthier routine. You can't change the past, but you CAN influence and change the future. So, no more beatings. Today, you do your best to log your food, drink your water, eat a couple extra servings of veggies and get a bit of exercise.

Remember, be kind to yourself as you would to others. Take baby steps literally and figuratively. Don't try to do everything at once or you will end up frustrated. slow and easy really does win this race.

Once you get back into a routine, you'll start feeling better. Why not decorate your new apartment ? It may not be a house, but now it's your home.
