I agree with the advice on baby steps. Start by tracking your food to really make sure you're eating has healthily as you think. Then, just start slowly adding exercise, any exercise, into your routine. For me, it was important to make it a habit, so I do it at the same time every day, and now, it's old hat to get up at 5 & work out. Yes, some days are harder than others, but I've done it pretty much every weekday straight for 3 months now. Even on vacation, although I wasn't sticking totally to my plan, I got up and at least walked for 20 minutes and squeezed other stuff in where I could. Also, sometimes if I find myself sitting around and feeling fidgety or hungry, I might do one of Spark People's videos. I am in love with Coach Nicole's Kickboxing.

Baby steps. If you are normally active, just step it up a bit each week. If you are usually sedintary try walking around the block. If this is too boring for you try getting a friend to join you, or take your i pod/ mp3 player. I get my kids to walk with me :) add a little more each week. I take the stairs at work, walk to the store when I dont ahve big shopping to do, I loose momentum and want to stay in bed sometimes, my kids pull me out of it and ask when are we going for a walk again? or I ask myself if this is how I really want to be. When all else fails I PRAY, I let God know how I am feeling and ask for help.
