Is there a way on the new tracker to remind a person what exercises one is scheduled for on a given day? That seems an odd thing to do away with on the new tracker.

I weighed in on this topic on another thread and then found this thread. I hadn't noticed the change in points allocated for food tracking or commenting on blogs. I think those are just fine. But I can't understand the reason to tinker with the exercise tracker. I really miss the strength training tracker, which insured that I would actually do ST exercises and not just cardio.
Perhaps SP was trying to make it easier for newbies, but there were videos to demonstrate how to use the different features. I think having the separate ST tracker is important for people who are no longer new. We need tools to keep us motivated and keep us exercising. Thanks for listening to my feedback.

I am having difficulty adjusting to the new fitness tracker. I walk a lot. I walk both A.M and P.M and sometimes in between. I log both distance and time. When I want to see the total for the day, all I see is the time, and calories burned, not the distance. I have to go to a different screen to see total distance. I don't really care about the "total time" I'd rather see "total distance" or both. It is just now inconvenient.

Today is the first day that I have logged on since last Saturday, because of my vacation. This was a real surprise when I went to the fitness section. Changes happen all the time I just have to adjust to the new format. But, I prefer the old format better.

I agree with a previous post that mentioned liking the reward points better for exercising than tracking food because it's more motivating.
I used the old system, could not figure out how to track my strength training on the new systerm. I will check it out when I have more time!

I like the new system and I like the old system. I wish that we would get a warning or a shout out before they are instituted. It kinda warms you up for the change. Unlike today when I found everything new. I live on a tight schedule and need time to just catch up with my SP Buddies let alone trying to figure out a new system.
I need motivation for everything it seems like lol....Keep on rocking and moving

I logged on today searching for my strength minutes and noticed that the area in which the strength training was had disappeared. It confused me! I hope I can get used to this.

Me, I don't NEED more points for eating or talking; I do those very well on my own. Earning points for MOVING was very motivating.

I too am disappointed in the recent changes to the trackers. Those of us who have been here a while learned to use the old system and, while making these changes may help newbies, they actually discombobulate us!
I do appreciate the fact that we can increase our points for commenting on blogs. I enjoy jotting a note to cheer the hard work others put into SP and I especially like encouraging new members. I think it only right, if I'm going to put in that effort, that my Spark Points reflect it.
However, as a motivational tool, Spark points are losing their appeal because I see that the SP staff doesn't value them; otherwise, they would not reduce the sign-in and bonus points, nor make the changes we've seen in the last few months. And since Spark points have been a HUGE motivator for me in the past, I'm not quite sure what I'll do next.
Sorry the change has been frustrating. We make changes to SparkPoints to try and streamline them so in it less confusing for new members. We are glad to hear they are providing the motivation we intend though. Hopefully you have seen the other tweaks to points which include added points in a few other places.
• Upping the max food points per day from 10 to 15.
• Increasing points for commenting on blogs from 2 to 5.
Hopefully those areas will help make up for the fitness ones and keep you supporting others and tracking as you move toward your goals.

I liked my regular workout recommendations! They're gone now! And we lose 10 points a day - which we got for strength training PLUS the 24 for cardio! Why do we lose points whenever you make a change? We lost points when you changed the e-mails. Now we lose TEN a day - I am REALLY UNHAPPY ABOUT THIS. REALLY!
Also - the wheels are SO MUCH lower than when I started. The virtual rewards don't cost anyone anything - but they are a BIG motivator. And they are diminishing with every change.
Will you PLEASE bring back our lost points?????? PLEASE????? I am SO disappointed!
