Love my interval timer. i also use it for tabata on the treadmill or bicycle which is the only way you can get me on those machines. i have hundreds of workouts. Try out ZWOW's or Bodyrock.tv. they have free workouts that are similar to tabata and take 15-20 minutes.

I am an advocate for the Gymboss timer. At a cost of only $20 you have a portable timer which can be set to the intervals you choose and will repeat those intervals until you turn it off. www.gymboss.com

bicycle crunches and toe touches are really good for the abs and air squats and squat jumps are really good for the legs and butt!

I downloaded the Tabata app on my phone that counts it out for you the 20 seconds on and 10 seconds off.

I started with Tabada in water aerobics, and have added doing it at home. I love it, it seems like the first 4 reps on any one movement are easy to do then you get to 5, 6, 7, and by 8 feel the burn! I like the idea that i can get a nice burn for a 30 minute workout. I walk 2 miles first as a warm up out side and then finish with the tabada. I blast the radio and have the tabada timer on my computer. I will look at the ones mentioned for my legs and abs to try and add that in. thanks for the spot to look at for those.

I just participated in a Tabata class at my local recreation commission. She set up a warm up, two more intense total body (jumps, jumping jacks, squats, etc.) and then our last one was usually all abs. Made for a great workout!

Tabata protocol workouts are designed to be full body workouts not isolation exercises using small muscle groups. You can find 4 progressively demanding 4 minute bodyweight workouts in the general discussion forum of the Spark team Resistance band and bodyweight training

Just started doing tabada workouts at home, mostly upper body arms, with 5lb weights. Can anyone share tips on core or leg workouts that are good with tabada?
