I agree... vacations are tough! I just got back from one and definitely didn't do as well as I do when at home, but did a bit better than I normally do when traveling. I tried my best to use the gym at the beach condo I was staying at, as well as walks on the beach with my family (we do not live nearby so agreed to take a trip for our next visit). The gym was miserably hot, so I didn't stay in there very long. We decided to go out for about one meal per day and eat smaller things for our other meals. We brought along some healthy snacks, like pistachios, to share. I think being active helped me the most, and I tried to at least watch my portions. I indulged in some wonderful meals, but I tried to stop before I felt stuffed. Lots of water is always good too!
