To maintain muscles, strength training once a week should help with that. Not strength training will cause you to lose muscle, so I would suggest talking with your parents and possibly even sharing the Teen's Guide to Fitness and Exercise that is listed on your start page. It's hard to say what exactly will happen for you/how quickly you will lose or gain muscle when you stop and start strength training since everyone is different. But I encourage you to talk with your parents more about this.
So until i gain weight my parents wont let me do any strength exercises. I was just wondering that if the weight i gain will be all fat and if so when i began to strength train again will it turn into muscle?
