We aren't able to say the cause of your leg or back issues - we aren't qualified and you can't say over the internet anyway. Your best best would be to see your Dr about it. There COULD be something going on which needs addressing by a qualified medical professional.

You know, I get sore like that if I skip a day of working out, and even more if I miss two or more days. Even one of the 10 minute videos can relieve it. My favorite is the 15 minute full body ball workout.Gets everything up and running!!
I don't know if that's the same thing, though. A doctor may be next.

It's only a five pound fluctuation. That's really not abnormal. Mine can fluctuate 10-15lbs in A DAY, depending on the time of month and the amount of sodium I've had, and the amount of water I did(or didn't) drink. I retain more water when I dont' drink as much as I should.
You could be sore from stiffness from not getting regular exercise. As you can see by my ticker...I...am huge. I find if I sit or stand in one place for an extended period of time, I hurt more from muscle stiffness than I do when I get exercise on a near daily basis. I don't mean just cleaning the house, even though that's a good way to burn calories AND be productive, but I do that anyway. I mean getting on the bike and pedaling while I watch a program. I understand that soreness. Once you start working out again, maybe add some yoga stretches as well, that kind of soreness that you're experiencing should dissipate. If it does not, then go see your doc.

I have noticed lately than my legs and back have been sore. Funny thing is I have not really been working out in over a month! I do some standing at work (total of maybe 10 hours a week) and go up flights of stairs to my apartment and that has been about it (sad I know).
I am just baffeled because my legs ache like I have been on the elliptical or walking miles on end. I never used to feel sore (when not working out) and now I am sore everyday regardless if I workout or just do humdrum tasks (errands, standing at work, etc..nothing even close to strenuous thats for sure)
as for my pathetic "workout" history:
(Im 31 and around 187-192) yes its that much fluctuation :/ since aug - sep I exercised 2-3 times a week (gym elliptical or bike, occasional walk on treadmill for total 30min-1 hr) and in oct I have exercised maybe 1-2 times a weeks and hikes maybe 6 times from aug-oct (1.5hr to 2 hr). I have not worked out once in November! and now I am so achey it is odd!
does anyone else have this weird sensation? I know everyone will tell me "I just need to stretch", but I am just CONFUSED as to why I am so sore from NOTHING?! :(
