Welcome - great goals for the right reasons. Spark People is the place to do it. I love it! I just wish the first time I started it, that I would have stayed with it, instead of letting someone get me discouraged & stressed. Too late, I developed Type II Diabetes a few years ago. But I am determined now, with Spark People, again, that I will lose the excess weight & get healthy again. You can do it. Hugs

I've been telling my husband that I've got to have more accountability, a system, something to keep me motivated to lose the 60 lbs. I need to lose. What I've tried all these years is not working obviously. I don't want to look back after I've heard I have cancer or diabetes, or heart disease and then be motivated. Too late. So I've got to do this and it just has to work. I've got to kick bad habits like drinking diet coke, and making excuses not to exercise. I'm praying the Lord's strength through this and His mercy that I'm not starting too late.
