I had a similar breakthrough moment this past summer when playing mini golf with the family. I could climb some stairs on the course and was able to bend over easily to pick up the golf ball. In years past, I wouldn't have even played, instead sat out and acted as score keeper.
Congrats on your accomplishment! Relish the positive changes and use that positive energy to keep you moving forward!!
I'm closer to my goal today than I was yesterday!

yesterday went for a long walk (2 1/4 hours). It included walking down to a local beach and back up again. This involved a lot of stairs - probably about a dozen floors worth at least. I went slowly coming back up and rested a few times, but it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I did think, however, that I would be very sore this morning - but I don't have any soreness at all! I couldn't believe it. It's great to be in shape!
