Others have said it, but I will confirm it. The first week or two of most low-carb diets is mostly about cutting cravings and getting your body used to burning fat instead of carbohydrates as the main fuel source. Give it some more time. The first couple of weeks also 'work' better for weight loss if you normally eat a lot of carbs and you have a lot of weight to lose.
October 2010: 345 lbs October 2011: 215 lbs October 2012: 215 lbs October 2013: 251 lbs (Doh, time to get back on track)

The purpose of South Beach phase 1 is to cut out the cravings, not for weight loss. The weight loss in phase 1 is just an added bonus. If you are feeling good and over your cravings, its time to move on to phase 2. That's where the real weight loss happens.

I don't think you have plateaued as you haven't been doing it long enough TO plateau!
Phase 1 is just two weeks long... for many people, especially women, it takes 6-8 weeks to just get started.

husband and i have been following the phase 1 meal plan of south beach diet and have been loving it. its really easy and we feel great! husband is losing and i am just stuck... wondering if anyone else has hit a stopping point while on a low carb health plan. im not sure what to do.. i dont want to eat less because i feel like im starving myself and i know im not over eating so that cant be the problem.. iv been mixing fiber into my drinks to see if that helps. im stuck and need some tips.. my motivation is disappearing..
