Ok, so yesterday. I did fairly well. Somehow I managed to skip breakfast. For lunch, I had a Lean Gourmet meal, a Dannon yogurt, and a coke (I know, bad!). For dinner I made a taco salad (no shell), an apple, and milk. Then, I messed up. I was overtired because Presley was fighting sleep. I completely binged, had some pudding but then sat in front of the tv with wheat thins and another coke. So I ended up going over 300 calories and 8g of fat. However, I did do 10 minutes of kickboxing and 10 minutes of yoga plus I drank my 8 cups of water! I was still upset with myself though and managed to not get to bed until 2 am. So today, I didn't drink any water or exercise, but I've been doing well with eating. I woke up at 6, had Cheerios with skim milk for breakfast. Had to run errands and by the time I got home 5 hrs later at noon I was starving! So I ended up having a lean pocket, 2 rice cakes, a dr pepper ten, and a fiber one bar. Then at dinner I had 4 oz of lemon-pepper tilapia, a baked potato, and a peanut butter-chocolate-banana smoothie (245 cals). I was very satisfied afterwards and didn't feel hungry at all. So far since dinner I have had a yogurt, a dr pepper ten, and a fiber one bar. I am not sure why I feel so hungry after 8 pm every night. Possibly because I used to not eat all day until around this time and then would eat 3000 cals from 8pm to 2am. Old habits die hard I guess? Anyways, I'm allowed about 400ore cals, 30g fat more, 75 more carbs today. Hopefully I don't repeat last night!

I don't really know what to say. I joined this site for a lot of reasons. I guess I realized I needed to make changes to my life a few months ago. My daughter had to have her blood sugar tracked in December due to some health problems. Out of curiosity I checked mine a few times and was shocked that they were very high, staying around 180-190. Even after fasting, it remained high. My dr reccomended I go on a pre-diabetes diet and also told me that I have adrenal fatigue. I am 4'10" and weigh 115. I ate whatever I wanted, drank 20 oz redbull daily, never ate healthy. I thought that since I am smaller, that I didn't have to worry about what I ate. My dr informed me that I am quickly setting myself up for a disaster with my lifestyle. She suggested I eat healthier and aim to lose about 15-20 lbs through a healthy diet and exercise plan, based on my frame size. I am also taking a general Nutrition class at the local community college. It took awhile for everything to register, I was just really shocked. I now feel that I am ready to make a change in my life. I want to be healthy for myself, my husband, and my daughter. So, I joined this site because it seems so helpful. I plan on using this site and posting here daily. Later, I will post goals and my diet/exercise plan.
