It DOES feel great, right? It happened to me yesterday! I was at my fav. Goodwill store, 1 of the cashiers said, you look so sexy, have you lost weight? (I had just come in after 2 ZUMBA classes in my new small clothes) I said YES! 47 pounds with 4 to goal! YES! It does feel wonderful!

I always think it's funny when people ask if I've lost weight, and really I'm just wearing a more flattering pair of scrubs!
Cathwren, what a great way to think about it, I like thinking that 15 other ppl also think I look good! lol thanks guys, you've motivated me to get my butt of the couch and back to the gym, just when I was starting to backslide. Gotta keep the momentum going!

As I get older I am discovering this: the older you get the less they comment. Why is that? My guess is that when a person is older, people are somewhat afraid to comment for fear that the weight loss may be due to disease. When a person is young, disease usually doesn't factor into the equation. Even so, I've been so uplifted by the positive comments that I have received! My favorite: I don't know if you have a daughter, but you look just like her!

Since weight is such a touchy subject for most people, people don't usually comment even when they've noticed that you've lost weight. So for every person who does comment figure there are 15 who've noticed but didn't say anything.
