Where do you guys live, doesn't sound like you got what I got. I live in a suburb of Boston, shoveled at least 3 hours WITH my husband today. Love it though. Skiing tomorrow. :)

I was out there 35 minutes and burned about 300 calories...sweated up the clothing too. I was overdressed for the amount of effort I was putting into it.

When mine was working I wore it when I went sledding. It was a good workout too.
Not HUGE on calories, but it all adds up.

Interesting - with the amount of snow that we have I'm sure it will be a good workout! The snow shoveling guys haven't even started at our apartment complex yet but we are officially still not allowed to drive - but I will be clearing out my parking spot and it will probably take about an hour! It stinks being stuck inside all day :(

I am going to wear the Polar when I go out to shovel/snow blow...My driveway is small....maybe 20x60 feet. I will report back after the deed is done.
