Water is great. Also ensure you are getting enough protein. I also schedule a snack in my food tracker I can have if I want. It helps to remind me this is a lifestyle and not a diet.

Hi and welcome to Sparkpeople!!

I can tell you what works for me. I drink alot of water throughout the day. It helps me refrain from snacking!

What about go for a walk or take up a new hobby?? Get your mind off the snacks.

If you really need it, have the snack and move on. Don't beat yourself up over it. Take one day at a time!!

Hi,
How do you resist the urge to snack. There is a snack machine right outside my door. ome days I have sweet cravings, some days salt cravings. Any suggestions?
