You say you have cut back....If pounds aren't coming off salt may be sabotaging your effort to lose weight. Try to eat 1,000MG of salt or less per day and see the pounds start coming off once again. Cumin revs weight loss, so substitute cumin for salt....or try Mrs. Dash salt free seasonings....Kitchen Bouquet is also a good Seasoning instead of ketchup or other seasonings for roasts, hamburgers, ground turkey, etc.

Get some Jennie O 99% fat Free Ground turkey...you can have 4 ounces for 120 calories...make a stir fry with onions and green peppers, and veggies you like with a little Kitchen Bouquet.

Move every 20 minutes all day long....eat berries instead of other fruits as they have the least impact on blood sugar. Stick to low carb fruits such as apples, oranges, kiwi, peaches, pears, plums and all kinds of berries.....think veggie soup ..a cup before each meal. Avoid high glycemic foods--soda, processed carbs, sugar, etc., they just raise your insulin levels which makes your body want to hold onto fat.

Hope that helps.....

Body pump for women is the best... however, don't put the bar on your shoulders as instructed for squats or lunges

how much do you have to lose? if you had very little [20-40lbs] to lose in the first place, 11lbs in 6 months is exactly the sort of progress you should be aiming for. it's giving you time to adjust your diet [yep, i use the primary definition of the word] and you're basically learning to eat where you'll maintain.
if you have 200lbs to lose then it might be any number of things. it could be that even with cutting back on those things you aren't cutting enough calories to lose more. you could have a medical issue that's complicating things. it's really hard to offer more suggestions without knowing your sex, age, starting weight, any medical issues, your exercise regimen and what you're actually eating.

I echo the PP, what do you mean by "cut back"?

I went to check your nutrition tracker, but see you don't have a SparkPage so I can't.

Are you using the tracker? If so, if you create a SparkPage and open it we can be of more help.

IF you are using it, what calories are you consuming?
What is your current weight and height?

It might be that you are fairly close to your body's ideal weight, in which case the weight-loss IS often quite slow. A lot of people have a goal weight, but it is unrealistic re being too light.

Are you eating all of your meals?
Are you eating a balanced diet?
Are you getting exercise in?

Note, tho', that exercise is only a small portion of weight-loss - it is a BIG portion of fitness and muscle tone.

Kris.

Eleven pounds is still a loss so you can be proud of yourself for that.
I find that tracking my nutrition is essential and it is so easy to do here!
Also, as the previous poster suggested, exercise will definitely help to bump up your weight loss.
If you share your nutritional tracker it is easier for people to give advice but mostly it is easier for YOU to have an idea of where changes can be made.
Hang in there!!!!

Hi there!
Eleven pounds isn't so bad! That's two full bags of potatoes PLUS that you're not lugging around anymore!

When you say "cut back," what does that mean, exactly?

Are you within calorie range if you are including empty calories like soda in your diet still?

Are you eating 5+ servings of fruit and veggies every day?

Are your macronutrients, not just calories, within range? Carbs, fat, protein?

Are you exercising? Drinking lots of water?
