I'm guilty of only using mine for roasts, even though there are so many other things you can make with it! I always just get a roast, usually 2-3 pounds, and either beef or pork. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, or other spices, put in crock pot, put about 1 cup of water in, and cook on low about 6-7 hours...then you can add whatever you like as a side!
