Did you look at "Deskercise" thread yet?

It was encouraging to read that you hate the treadmill, but will do it anyway, sometimes. I hate strength training, but decided that I have no options and that I have to do it. Nice to have some company when I am not doing what I love!

I looked into this stuff ...but I have been off of the working out for almost a month now while I was doing some tests but now I can ease myself back into my walking and other stuff slowly I havent lost any weight but I havent gained any either that is a good thing...

With the weather not being great over here I havent been able to get out and walk so this week once I did the 11 min cardio video I am sitting on my stability ball at work for about 3 hrs ...each day ...

I may try walking on the treadmill tomorrow morning ...I just hate working out indoors and I hate the treadmill...we will see or I will walk tomorrow at lunch like I used before it starts to get to cold and snow ....

So hard to get back into a work out routine but I know I have to do it ...taking the girls out trick or treating tonight so at least I will get some walking in ......

My office is very small so there really isnt room for me to do much of anything but I do leg lfts if I walk to the kitchen and I stand for at least 45 min ..oh well any suggestions are welcom ...

Jump rope. You don't even need a rope. Just imagine you have one. Start with 1 minute, then try 2 minutes, etc. Turn on some music with a good beat. The most calories burned per unit time.

Take a look at the thread, "Deskercise" under Fitness and Exercise in message boards. There are many creative ideas for adding exercise at a desk at work.

Hello Everyone
Hope everyone is loving the fall weather...we are getting the remainder of Hurricane Sandy over here so rain and wind for the whole week which means no getting out to work out ...also reno being done on home so at inlaws...
Any suggestions on cardio workouts for work ...I sit all day and forgot to bring my excersize ball in ...but I do the 11 min sparkpeople cardio at work any other suggestions.
