Sometimes I would work all three shifts in one week.I had to make sure I had an eight hour block of not eating(when others slept) I had to take diet food to work and if it was graveyard I ate dry cereal to keep awake.Cheerios was my usual go to food.I ate a lot of fruit and veggies.There were times I would go months working all three shifts in one week.Once,I counted up how many hours I slept in one week,17 hours for over seven days.Of course my last day of the shift ,I was asked to transport somebody(inmate) to the hospital.I had to really fight to get out of the job because I had already gone 48 hours without sleep.My safety,the public's and the prisoners life would of all been in jeopardy.I won the battle but they still made me feel guilty.

I am looking for ideas to help keep me on track. I work different shifts and keeping it ral with food gets difficult sometimes. I can work a 12 hour day and 8 hour nights within the same week and be off for a day or 2 in between. I find myself having breakfast 2 times in one day sometimes as well as lunch and dinner as I have to have meals for the family too. I need ideas for shift work and weight loss.
