Why not just enter them, add them to favorites and then delete them from the daily nutrition tracker? I don't know any other way..

Hello, I have been trying to track foods and am having trouble saving the foods without them being entered in as something I ate for today. How do I add foods to save for the future without them showing up on my daily totals? Some examples are foods I normally eat like cereals, fruits and veggies, meats or granola bars for the most part. Any help would be appreciated.
