Hi there! I was trying to train for a 5K but realized I really hate jogging. I like running fast for short periods of time, and walking and hiking, but I really hate just running. If you want a buddy (or more than one!) then making a Sparkpage so people can give you goodies and post encouraging things and comment on your blogs is a great way to get involved in the community!

I'm going to start training for a 10K in the next couple of days and was wondering if anything wanted to be my running buddy? My friends and family aren't really huge runners, so I would love to make a new friend so we can share our successes together!
A little bit about me.. I'm a sophomore in college and will be living on campus for the summer. I am a pre-med student with the hopes of being a pediatrician! Along with training for the 10K, I am hoping to lose some weight before my 21st birthday. Anything else just ask!
