This is a great place for you to be.....so much support! I have been sedentary for 2 years....and this website has got me up and moving again. You will never feel alone on your journey, I promise you! And good for you joining Planet Fitness!!! I joined some years back, and then never wanted to go. I am more comfortable with working out at home, walking and riding my bike. I can't go very far because I am still in the early stages of exercise....my legs really hurt, so I stick close to home myself.

I am also here again...was here before but never really used the site as a full tool for health and weightloss...I'm hoping this time will be different. I want to start a serious walking program, with a challenge to walk 30 miles each week. A doable challenge, but as I work FT it will be a challenge non-the-less. I want to lose 43 lbs by September. I can do this!

Hi, My name is Cheryl( wow sounds like a AA meeting), a SAHM mom of 1 and I live in NC. I was here 4 yrs ago and was doing great. I lost about 80 lbs and was enjoying everything and like the destructive person that I am, I feel back into not exercising and eating, then I became sick and became agoraphobic. For a year I would not leave the house and also would not eat, rather I drank Ensure and lost some pounds,but nothing drastic. Luckily I over came the Agoraphobia 2 yrs ago and just suffer from an Anxiety disorder that leads to panic attacks in certain situations( like trying to walk farther than I am comfortable with). I finally got my act together exercise wise and joined Planet Fitness 2 months ago. I love the exercise, but food is my issue. I am eating more calories than I should, when I am PMSing I go for chocolate and this has kept me from loosing more than a few lbs. In August I go back to school to finish my B.A. and would like to at least be 20 lbs slimmer. I am hoping by finding support here I can do this. Thanks for reading. Cheryl
