Whenever I encounter this problem, I usually google something like "1 cup of yogurt to grams" or "1 cup of yogurt to ounces." (Sometimes, ounces works better because both cups and ounces are American measurements, and then you can easily convert ounces to grams). This isn't always perfect, but it works. Here are a couple links for online calculators and conversion tables! www.gourmetsleuth.com/cooking-conversions/cooking-conversions-calculator.aspx www.traditionaloven.com/conversions_of_measures/butter_converter.html allrecipes.com/howto/cup-to-gram-conversions/ www.dianasdesserts.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/tools.measures/Measures.cfm wiki.answers.com/Q/How_many_grams_are_in_a_cup

Cups are volume and grams are weight, and you cannot directly convert from volume to weight. You should purchase a set of measuring cups. They come in a standard size and then you're not guessing.
