I wanted to post this on the recipe page but can't find the recipe. I am going to make Davie's Black Bean and Brown Rice (Chef Meg's Makeover). The carbohydrate count seemed low to me. I am a diabetic and have to watch the carbs I eat. It appears that the recipe nutrition list for this recipe is the net carbs, not total carbs. Diabetics do not subtract all fiber to get a carb count. We take 1/2 of the fiber from foods that have 5 grams of fiber to determine actual carbs. I think that this needs to be factored. Recipes need to be more accurate. I can see the original recipe being off but this is the SparkPeople makeover. Makes me distrust the site.
