I had lap band 2010, weighed 225 now weigh 162. Hardest part is seeing the last weight come off. I put off exercising yet force myself into doing my recumbent bike for 30 minutes at least 2x a week. I do have still bad eating habits, sometimes go to buffets on the weekend. My husband abuses the lapband eats mexician food till he is stuffed, he also had lap band lost 175 pounds in the 1st year period. I went to a weight clinic I cannot eat 1200 calories a day. My fill is tight now. I lose and then gain and lose 3 pounds up and down. I find my family on husbands side eat too much are extremely fat and it makes me sick. I was there too but wanted to change. I put the fork down and enjoy the taste of food, small amounts. Finally my waist is 36", yet bust got smaller oh well. Good luck I find 1,000 calories fit my stomach size.
