I've done Insanity while using SP. I suggest following SP's suggested caloric intake. The one you get when you calculate for Insanity overestimates how many calories you will be burning. That's just my opinion. I would eat the 1800 calories and then go from there. If you feel you are losing too fast or not getting enough food then slowly increase your intake.
O.K. - I don't know why, but each time I go to put the correct link in the one on show is what came up, and yes, you are quite correct - it DOESN'T work :-(
Anyway, if you go to your Fitness Plan and IF you use the old version, then click on "Change Fitness Goals" beside where it says "FITNESS" at the top. You can then re-enter what you do for exercises and the length of time. Remember to save before leaving. IF you use the NEW Fitness Plan, then right beside the date are two tabs - choose the upper one which says "Fitness Setup" - once again remember to save before leaving.

also read up about the cals intake and figure out why spark is so much lower then the other formal I did. might have to make some changes to my cal intake.
When you do loads of exercise and you are burning loads of calories, you DO need to eat more to sustain that. Maybe you could go back to your Start Set-up and make sure that you have the right amount of type of exercise in it - I think that this link will take you to the right place (and remember to save it): www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/fitness2_edit. asp?

If you accurately input your estimated weekly calorie burn in your fitness goal settings, Sparkpeople will adjust accordingly. :)

I'm new to this site and just had a question. For my cal this site tells me to eight around 1800 cals a day. Now I do insanity and the formal they gave me tells me with the amount of working out and my size that I need to eat around 2400 cals a day. Anyone know what is a good base point to start with. The numbers are so different. thank you in advance.
