I've never made it but have watched them prepare it on shows like Chopped. They seem to peel or cut off an outer layer before chopping or slicing it. You could probably google "how to prepare kohlrabi" and get a thousand sites telling you how to do it.

I always peel off the tough outer skin, slice it, salt it, and YUM!

I have had kohlrabi before, but I have never bought it before today. What is the best way to eat it? Is there any layers to cut off before I eat it, or do I just cut it into pieces? Any advice would be great!
