Hi there! I just started using protein bars and protein shakes to give me more energy and if I start the day with 30 grams of protein I feel much better ALL day.. so the kind you recommend, what do they break down to in cost per bar? What are the calories and how much sugar and how much protein? I am curious. My favorites are the Balance Gold chocolate mint cookie crunch bars.. OMG they're good.. On sale for $1.00 a bar, but sometimes $1.19.. 200 calories, 7 fat, 16 sugars, 14 protein. They are a meal replacement, pretty much, or a very good snack.. so for breakfast, I would have that with a fat free greek yogurt or an afternoon snack. I haven't found them in bulk boxes yet.

I have found at Walmart for less than 4.00 dollars protein bars that really curb the hunger. Taste is not too bad but i like to refridgerate mine. They are called life choice protein bars located in the cereal area. I highly reccomend giving them a try
