If you aren't a Peanut Butter fan, you wouldn't like this. It is peanut butter without the oil in it. I have now idea what "not clean" means......... I have been using it for a couple of years, and love it. But I do like peanut butter.......... I never reconstitute it, I just use in things as the powder... And I get the pleasure of the peanut butter flavor, and low or no points.

I bought some PB2 a few months ago because I heard a lot of people who really liked adding it their smoothies. So I tried doing that and I guess I am not a big enough peanut butter fan, I don't like peanut butter flavored drinks. I was trying to figure out what else to use it for and asked in the forum where I had first heard about it. Turns out they had all moved on to the next new thing because PB2 isn't 'clean'. I'm not exactly sure what that means but I think it was because it has a little sugar in it? Anyway, I'm going to try to add it to muffins and pancakes and see if I like it that way. Any other suggestions?
Just seen the PB2 in the local Walmart and also wondered how it was. My family loves the flavor of peanut butter but we definitely don't need the extra calories. Am going to have to pick up a jar and give it a try. Adding it to smoothies sounds yummy.
I really like PB2 to add into other foods......... Also I just imagine that it would be really good added to a Mini Butterfinger Blizzard. Ha!!

I've also used PB2 for several years. I buy the 1 lb bags (6 at a time through Amazon). I have friends who reconstitute it and eat it like regular low fat PB; however, I don't like the low-fat. If I'm having a PB&J, then I'll stick with my all natural full fat version.
I primarily use PB2 in smoothies and oatmeal (be sure to add a little extra water in the oatmeal to account for the PB2). I know someone else mentioned the potential loss of the very things that make PB healthy...well, I use PB2 strictly for the flavor of PB (and protein). I get my essential fatty acids, etc elsewhere. It is worth EVERY penny.
I've even been known on rare occasions to add some to my Mini Butterfinger Blizzard from DQ. :-)

I have some crackers coming from amazon that I was thinking of having it as peanut butter on! Hope it taste good...!!
The way I use it, I put a tablespoon of it in my weight watchers chocolate smoothie. It is yummy! But on the Jar it tells you how to reconstitute it. But you can add it to any recipes that you're making or you can reconstitute it and use it like peanut butter.
I am sure that others have different ways of using it. Have fun

I have heard all positive reviews for PB2. I have not tried it, but I may try it now.
I have used PB 2 powdered peanut butter for several years. In our area you can find it in the health food section of your grocery store. It is in a jar that looks like peanut butter jar except it's powdered. I like it...we have added it to our Weight Watchers chocolate smoothies. It is good.
I have heard of it and have known about it for years, but never bought it (too frugal, LOL). You basically add water to a certain portion of the powdered peanut butter. I've heard it was good but again, never tried it myself.

Thanks to JLOVEY1 I looked up 'pb 2' and came across the Bell Plantation site ( www.bellplantation.com/ ). Interesting.
I found "Food Babe"'s thoughts -- foodbabe.com/2012/09/16/the-truth-about-pb 2-powdered-peanut-butter/ -- interesting though not always on target (I eat minimally processed, try to go for fresh and local, etc., but "real food" like "natural" is pretty much just a buzzword and scare tactic ... "organic" has a definition at least, but isn't the end-all-be-all, etc.), the Aflatoxin scare is overblown, and I'm critical of anyone panning one product while promoting another (here: almond butter ... and her new favorite brand!) ... BUT there is a useful point about extracting all the oils/fats ... which is where a lot of nutrition *is* found, and the problems you might then have with fat soluble vitamins, like E. Food for thought, at least.
