On my app I select the track food button, search for or choose the food I want from my favorites list, select it and then a page comes up where I can change the quantity as well as choose the meal it should be added to. Then click save food and you should be all set.
If you're already on the food page (found by selecting the picture labeled with food at the bottom menu) to add foods you need to select the plus sign near the top instead of using the track food button that's on the home page.
I haven't found a way to add my recipes to my tracker from my phone yet though...
Note: I have an android so I am not sure if this may work differently for other OS

How do I choose breakfast, lunch or dinner when adding meals onto my phone? I am new to this and am feeling a little overwhelmed!
